Standard Admission Students

• Academic Requirement:

Admission Requirements

Mature Admission Students

• Be at least 18 years old age prior to admission (19 for out-of-province); and

• Successful completion of the College admissions test

• Successful completion of English 30-1 or 30-2 or equivalent verified by transcript;

OR

• Successful completion of the General Equivalency Development test (GED) with a standard score of 520 in Language Arts: Reading and Writing verified by transcript;

OR

• Successful Completion of the College Admission Test

English Language Proficiency (ELP) Requirement

• Transcripts demonstrating successful completion of three years of full-time secondary education at a school where English was the language of instruction;

OR

• Transcripts demonstrating successful completion of one year of full-time post-secondary education at a school where English was the language of instruction;

OR

• Minimum score in an approved ELP Test

Field Placement Prerequisites

• Clear Police Information Check (PIC) with a Vulnerable Sector Search (VSS). International or out-of-province students arriving in Canada less than six (6)months prior to the program start date should obtain their PICs in their home country or province.
